The first is, the game autosaves in \”slots\” slot 1, slot 2, etc. When we re-start the game there is an error message stating \”The data file is corrupt\” and it gives you the option to continue, which starts the game over from the beginning, or Delete which, of course, deletes the file.

Unfortunately my daughter had no idea what she was doing when this came up and she clicked delete on a file she had been working on for about 7 hours. I have found that when this comes up, if you eject the disk from the computer, hit \”continue\” or \”back\”, close out of the game, then reinsert the disk and restart the game, then your file is still there and will load fine. Still, very annoying. The second glitch is, the princess has to feed and nurture her flowers in the garden. When she has to sing to her flowers, a screen comes up that uses the arrow keys to play notes.

This does not work. The arrow keys are worthless though they work fine to navigate the princess otherwise. The only way to get out of this is to hit the ESC key and return to the portal room. You haven\’t lost anything, but it is still very frustrating. Those are the only two glitches I\’ve found, and I am pretty sure they are unique to the Macintosh.

I won\’t editorialize on what I think of Macintosh here. If they fix these two problems it would be a perfect 5 star game and these are certainly not fatal flaws.

I hope for my daugther\’s sake that they come out with a sequel some time soon. One of the only newer Mac games for kids. We play it together. It can be a bit repetitive. We love Disney so we are pleased with the purchase. This game was great. I enjoyed the personalization variety for my character and how they followed the princesses storylines. I wish the chapters for the princess worlds were longer or there were more of them. I didn\’t like how they had instructions for every scene and constantly reminded you which keys did what because it takes a lot of time and you are just sitting there listening to instructions, but I cant complain too much since it is a children\’s game.

This game was fun but Tiana\’s world was way too short, just two little games and her world was over. Overall it was fun, it has been the best Disney Princess game I\’ve purchased so far and I do suggest buying this game for your little girl. No shooting or blood and guts that boys seem to like.
